Object Grants - Michael Coates promoted to Product Manager
SYDNEY, 19 January, 2010 - Object Consulting, one of Australia's largest enterprise solutions developers, has promoted Michael Coates to the twin roles of Principal Consultant, and Product Manager - Object Grants. Michael will be working with Object's clients, Australia's largest enterprises, to align business and technology strategies. In particular, he will be working with Government and other funding bodies using Object Grants, a purpose-built grants management platform developed in partnership with Victoria's Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD).
Michael has 13 years' experience in the IT industry, including nearly a decade with Object Consulting. Initially employed as a Java developer, he progressed to becoming a Solutions Architect and Product Architect on some of Object's - and Australia's - most significant IT projects for clients including the National Australia Bank, Foxtel and Telstra. He was also instrumental as Architect and Lead Developer on DPCD's eGrants platform, which later became Object Grants.
Throughout his career, Michael has focused on the transformational aspects of solutions architecture, building systems that help clients minimise their time-to-market with new products and services, or that transform the business' service capabilities.
