User Experience Drives Object Consulting Hires

SYDNEY, 3 August, 2010: Object Consulting has appointed Julian Munford to the role of Senior Consultant leading up the Northern Region’s User Experience Practice. In this capacity, he will lead application projects for Object’s FSI, government and other clients, particularly in ‘user experience’ projects involving touch-sensitive screens and walls, iPads and other devices.

Julian is part of a wave of new hires by Object Consulting – which has grown its Northern services team (covering NSW and QLD) by 25% since February, bringing the company’s national team to a total of 260. Object is continuing to hire – with a further five new appointments to be announced shortly – in line with growing enterprise demand for projects that deliver new ways of engaging their customers.

Julian brings to the role more than a decade’s experience, much of it gained in his native UK. His experience includes developing applications for the Microsoft Surface, as well as holding software engineer and User Experience Architecture roles with UK-based RM Education and insurance company Swisslife.
Julian holds tertiary qualifications in IT Usability and Software Engineering, from London Metropolitan University and De Montfort University.
