Following the huge success of the inaugural Australian Architecture Forum in 2007, we are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Australian Architecture Forum in May 2008.

To be held in Melbourne on May 16 and Sydney on May 19, the Australian Architecture Forum is a unique, one day event that provides an unprecedented opportunity for architects from the enterprise, government and IT community to discuss and share ideas on the experiences and challenges in today’s practice of solutions architecture in Australia.

The Forum’s cross-technology, interactive round-table format addresses the situations you meet in real life, and provides you with the opportunity to learn – not just from presenters but from each other.

SOA : The New Maturity

This year's Forum theme is SOA: The new maturity. With SOA no longer the 'next big thing', how is it actually being applied by Architects effectively to apply real value to business? Discussion at the Forum will surround this central idea and explore the practicalities of SOA in detail.

Throughout the day, the emphasis will be on discussion and sharing at round table sessions with subject matter experts from a broad range of architectural backgrounds. There will also be major presentations delivered from well-known experts in this area.
