Chief iP Officer and Executive Director

Peter Richardson is responsible for leveraging Object Consulting's intellectual property (iP). He works with other technology leaders to harvest Object's significant knowledge of software development to provide better solutions to client business problems.

Previously Object’s Chief Technology Officer, he is a leading authority on distributed object technology and architectures for large-scale distributed systems with over 22 years experience at both the enterprise-wide and system levels.

In 2000 Peter founded InfoMedix, a subsidiary of Object Consulting delivering products and services for information integration in the healthcare industry. InfoMedix is now the leading medical records scanning solution provider in Australia, with more live customers and projects than any other vendor.

Before joining Object in 1991 to found the Melbourne office, Peter was a Principal Engineer with Telstra Research Labs, where he was responsible for a number of major initiatives, most notably introducing C++ and OO programming to Telstra.
