Chief Technology Officer

Brett McDowall is responsible for driving Object Consulting's technical direction and promoting Object's Thought Leadership in emerging technologies and solutions such as Cloud Computing.

With more than 20 years of extensive experience in the vision, architecture, analysis, design, management and implementation of major projects, Brett is a leading force in the creation of successful modern systems. Throughout his career, Brett has been at the forefront of making IT work for business and users. He has always been an innovator and has used his deep understanding of technology and software engineering to drive the technical and architectural direction of Object.

Brett joined Object in 1991 as part of the Thought Leadership group promoting the then radical new approach to software design called object-oriented programming to the market. During his eighteen years with Object, Brett has leveraged innovative technological solutions to solve tough business problems for a diverse range of industry sectors including finance, insurance, telecommunications, government and agriculture. Prior to this role, Brett held the position of Object's Chief Architect.
