The future provides real challenges for government at all levels, from a population with ever-growing expectations in computer-based customer service, combined with greater requirements for improved service delivery, access and security whilst maintaining transparency, efficiency and cost-efficiency. At the same time, governments have unique, and often fixed, operational, hierarchical and process management structures.
Object is a member of the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) eServices panel. The eServices panel is a pre-authorised group of Business and IT Service providers for Victorian Government department and agencies. Object has also been selected as a provider of services under the NSW Whole of Government ICT Services Panel 2020, ICT-2020. Our inclusion in government panel contracts is a reflection of our extensive experience in providing information technology services with high contractual visibility and governance to Federal and State Government.
Object has developed a specialist Practice to enable us to proactively develop solutions ready to address issues faced by governments. This Practice has successfully delivered solutions and specialist consulting services to numerous Federal and State government departments and authorities. Our extensive experience has created a strong understanding of both the fundamental constraints and the inherent opportunities. Due to the need for contractual visibility and governance, Object’s ability to tailor its processes and provide high quality deliverables based on a repeatable process is a key advantage in working with government.
Our experience ranges from the provision of consulting services through to the design and delivery of large fixed price projects costing millions of dollars. We are able to transfer our commercial experience in successfully delivering solutions on time and to budget to define the right solution for the job to assist governments, as well as leveraging our solutions and approaches developed specifically for government. These include our citizen service solution for citizen access and our business process optimisation solution that can address requirements such as case management and data access and reporting.
