National Practice and Productivity Manager
Kevin Francis is responsible for supporting and managing Object Consulting’s Practices to create and maintain a critical mass of talent and to remain at the forefront of innovation within key areas of expertise. He is also charged with the continual improvement of productivity, enhancing the systems, skills and techniques that underpin Object’s expertise in software solution delivery; as well as Object’s ability to deliver better and more cost-effective solutions in Australia than can be delivered offshore.
Kevin’s experience over the past 20 years spans software development, architecture, consulting, delivery and management. An Architect since 1995, Kevin is an expert in designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft platforms and also has experience with J2EE, BI/DW and mainframes. He has successfully delivered very large projects on time and to budget, designed globally recognised solutions, managed a team of over 10 Architects and Developers and is experienced in operational and strategic management.
Recognised as a Companion of the ACS and Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for his knowledge and experience in the Visual Developer/Solutions Architect area, Kevin is also a member of the Microsoft Architecture Advisory Board, the global group of Architects who work with Microsoft on mapping the future of Microsoft software and the Microsoft architecture community.
A highly sought after author, thought leader and presenter, Kevin has delivered presentations at Gartner, Microsoft Tech.Ed and bTell Enterprise Architecture conferences on a range of topics such as Architecture, SOA, .NET, Web Services, BizTalk and EAI.
