.NET Developer
Job Reference: ND0607S
The core function of the .Net Developer is to provide analysis, design, coding and documentation skills on projects.
The .Net Developer takes responsibility for one or more components of a system, from inception to completion. The .Net Developer must work to standards set for projects, and is responsible for ensuring that suitable testing takes place and that appropriate documentation is produced.
Responsibilties
- Completing Subsystem Modelling
- Developing components
- Participating in design workshops and reviews
- Designing components with the assistance of the Team Leader
- Promoting component reusability
Skills and Experience
- Computer Science or Software Engineering qualifications with good academic results and experience in object oriented subjects as part of the degree
- 4 or more years industry experience developing software and solving problems through coding
- 2 or more years of C# and .NET experience
- An ability to work as part of a team
- A practical mind, with the ability to think clearly and logically
- An ability to create a specification and work to it
- A proven ability to write quality code and understand underlying mechanisms
- Previous experience with UML and Object Oriented Modelling techniques
- High energy, motivation and result focused
Preference will be given to those who have sound knowledge and experience in both .NET and Java technologies.
